Cream Cheese Icing - for apple cake

1 pkg 3 oz cream cheese, softened
1 tbs oleo or butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 C sifted xxxx sugar

Beat cream cheese, oleo and vanilla. Gradually add xxxx sugar, beating until smooth.

If frosting is too thick add 1-2 tsp milk

Spread over cooled cake
