Strawberry / Raspberry Cake (Jello Cake)

1 pkg white cake mix
1 lg pkg strawberry or raspberry jello
1 lg pkg frozen strawberries or raspberries
1 lg container cool whip

Preheat oven to 350

Bake cake as directed. When cake is done, remove from oven. Take a large fork and poke holes close together over the entire cake.

Have jello made (dissolve jello in 1 cup hot water). Cool while cake is baking. Pour jello over hot cake. Refrigerate cake for several hours.

When cake is cool, add topping as follows: Put berries in blender for about 3 minutes. Fold into the cool whip. Spread evenly on cake and return to refrigerator.

Variations: Orange Cake Mix / Apricot Fruit / Orange Jello
Orange Cake Mix / Peaches / Lemon Jello
