Nutty Coconut Frosting

1/3 C sugar
1/3 C milk
2 tbs plus 1 tsp butter or oleo
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 C flaked coconut
1/2 C chopped walnuts or pecans

Combine first 5 ingredients in top of a double boiler. bring water to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring in coconut and walnuts; beat until mixture reaches spreading consistency.

Yield: Enough frosting for a 9" cake
